We chose to create a summary of the plot line of the play, with the Hymn to the Sun as our only soundtrack, really to imply how life defeats death, how Iris revives from the selfishness that kills her, in a flower that conveys at the same time her purity and life's own strength.
When selfishness and possession are narrated through love's own themes, an opacity of sense is created which, much like the tightest chains, has always imprisoned the oppressed and the fragile through History and each story.
Our play, which condenses an entire libretto in 4 minutes, is approached with a symbolist tone, which is all the more subjective as it searches for the symbols within dreamlike, almost unconscious images.
The modern and contemporary aesthetics takes the sense of the Opera and conveys it in the present.
