Dubai 2016
The idea of RCS for the video opening of Dubai's 2016 edition was to present all stages in a subjective manner, as if they were run by Vittorio Brumotti, the Italian bike trial champion, beloved in the Emirates.
With a mix of time-lapse, POV shots and athlete’s close-ups, the athlete’s story was also supported by a graphical interface, such as a viewer facing Brumotti's eye, pointing out the technical details of the race: path and mileage progressed together with the pictures, showing the spectator the exact point of the stage.
The video ended with the live broadcast of a video camera placed on the helmet of Brumotti himself who came on stage on his bike, giving way to a live performance.
